Asian Private Banker has announced the winners of its annual Technology Awards, with three trophies picked up by international consulting firms.

Launched in 2015, the Asian Private Banker Technology Awards celebrate the innovations and achievements of Asia's rapidly growing financial services technology sector. For this year’s edition, a judging panel comprising experts from the region’s private banking and wealth management scene assessed a record number of “high calibre” entries to shed light on the region’s top technology providers and vendors.

Continuing its 100% score in the awards ceremony, Synpulse was recognised for the sixth year running, this year bagging the ‘Best Integration Advisor’ and ‘Consultant of the Year’ accolades. The latter award marks a repeat victory for the Switzerland-headquartered consultancy, while it recovered the ‘Best Integration Advisor’ award from Cognizant having held it for four consecutive years between 2015 and 2018.

Commenting on the recognition, Yves Roesti, who leads Synpulse’s 250-strong Eastern hemisphere business said: “We are incredibly honoured to receive these awards. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our clients, our team, and industry partners for this incredible recognition.”

“We are incredibly energised to continue our dedication in supporting and innovating the private and wealth management industry. As Synpulse goes from strength to strength, we retain our strong focus on our Asian markets and remain committed to grow into a 500-headcount strong business in Asia Pacific by 2025,” added Roesti, who leads the consulting company together with co-CEO Konrad Niggli.

The prize comes half a year after Synpulse was named as Asia’s top management consultant to Asia’s wealth management and private banking industry by another leading industry publication.

Meanwhile, strategy, sales & marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners won the award for ‘Most Innovative Solution’ with its PricePro solution, a price management software tailored to the needs of private banks. The tool allows private banks to manage and optimise continuous profitability management across client segments.

The Asian Private Banker Awards were open to all technology vendors that provide solutions for private banks, institutions with private banking facilities and wealth managers in Asia. Vendors were assessed their foresight, quality of the service/solution, track record in Asia Pacific and execution capabilities.
