Synpulse wins third Asian banking technology award for integration advisory
Financial services management consulting specialists Synpulse has scored a trifecta at the Asia Private Banker Technology Awards, winning the Best Integration Advisor title for the third year running.
Launched in 2015 by the wealth management media and data agency Asia Private Banker, the Technology Awards recoginse corporate achievements in service and innovation within the burgeoning Asian fintech sector. And for the third consecutive year, the global management consulting firm Synpulse has been named 2017’s Best Integration Advisor, marking a clean-sweep in the category since the award’s inception.
With offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, and further afield in Switzerland, Germany, the US and UK, including a fresh locale in London launched earlier this year, the Zurich-based management consultancy offers a range of strategy, operational and technology implementation solutions with a focus on the insurance, banking and financial services sectors.
Formerly known as Solution Providers, the firm rebranded to Synpulse at the beginning of 2015 as a reflection of its international growth, and in the past year in particular has been bolstering its expertise in Singapore with a series of key hires and the relocation of CEO Christoph Nuetzenadel to oversee the development of its regional insurance practice from the local arm’s AXA Tower office.On receipt of the firm’s latest award, Singapore-based Managing Director and Partner Yves Roesti said; “Synpulse is proud to have won this award three years running – this affirms us in our ability to keep pace with the ever-changing industry landscape… Winning the award in such a competitive field means a lot us, and seeing our ecosystem partners emerge winners simultaneously is a great testament to the quality of our joint solutions.”
Among those ecosystem partners were fellow award-winners Appway for Best KYC (Know Your Customer) and Client Onboarding Solution and Avaloq in the Best Core Banking Platform category, while Synpulse was named alongside a host of other big international names including Microsoft (Best Data Analytics Solutions), Thompson Reuters (Best Market Data Solution), and LexisNexis (Best Anti-Money Laundering Solutions).
Synpulse itself was selected ahead of a large number of entries of an ‘exceptionally high caliber’ (with the competition attracting over 100 submissions across its categories last year), noted this year for the high praise that the firm had received from multiple clients for its training, development and consultations. Upon crowning the firm with its first Best Solutions/Integration Advisor award back in 2015, the Asia Private Banker judging committee stated;
“Using a holistic target operating model and sourcing approach, Synpulse has monopolised this niche. Its enterprise analysis, design, planning and implementation strategy has been much favored by banks, as it allows them to systematically analyse the bank’s sourcing potential and evaluate the vendor in question… Working alongside rapid advances in network speed, scale and flexibility in software design, Synpulse has created a most admirable platform for private banks seeking integration advisory. It is without a doubt this year’s winner of the Asian Private Banker Best Solutions/Integration Adviser award.”
