Professional services alliance BOKS adds two new members in Asia
Growing professional services alliance BOKS International has added two new members in Asia; YKS Chartered Accountants in Malaysia and Hong Kong’s CPS Taxation Services.
Founded in just 2016, global professional services alliance BOKS International has since grown to include close to 50 members in 35 countries, generating a combined fee income in excess of $110 million to place it within the top thirty such networks worldwide. Geared toward SMEs seeking a “cost-effective, flexible networking alliance that facilitates global business opportunities”, BOKS is aiming to enter the top twenty before the end of next year.
Ahead of its global conference in Kuala Lumpur next month, the firm has taken the next step on its ambitious path with the admittance of two new Asian members; Malaysia’s YKS Chartered Accountants, and CPS Taxation Services in Hong Kong. BOKS also this month added New York member Getzel Schiff & Pesce, taking its tally of new members this year to more than a dozen. Delegates from more than 40 of its members will gather for the annual global conference in September.
Joining as an exclusive member for Malaysia, YKS together with its affiliates offers a broad suite of financial and corporate services in the areas of assurance, tax compliance and advisory, and business and corporate consulting. “YKS are a fantastic firm with excellent pedigree and significant backing, we are delighted to welcome them into the alliance and have great expectations for the future of our relationship with them,” said Richard Sergeant, BOKS’ Alliance Director.
“We are immensely thrilled to join BOKS International,” responded YKS audit partner Yeo Keat Siang. “It’s an incredible opportunity to be associated with a fast growing global alliance which will greatly benefit our clients and our firm. With access to a wealth of dynamic and technical resources and support, we are greatly assured in achieving our commitment to providing outstanding and extensive services to our clients.”
CPS Taxation Services meanwhile was founded in 2014 by former Deloitte tax partner Eddy Yeung and provides a range of tax advisory and corporate services “We have been aware of Eddy’s firm in Hong Kong for some time, and are extremely pleased to finally welcome them into the alliance,” Sergeant said. “His niche expertise in cross-border issues in Hong Kong and mainland China will be a valuable resource to our members as we expand in the Asia Pacific region.”
“We are excited to be the professional partner to serve client needs in Hong Kong and China and showcase our professional teamwork in BOKS International,” commented Yeung, who has over two decades of industry experience under his belt. “I am confident that by sharing the same values and client service standards, this will become a mutually rewarding experience to our CPS practice, referring member-firms and international clients.”
