Roland Berger to develop new 10-year strategy for Vietnam Maritime Corporation
Vietnam Maritime Corporation, a giant in Vietnam’s maritime industry, has hired Roland Berger to help the company develop its vision and strategy for the coming decade.

Known internally as ‘Vision to 2035’, the strategy has set the goal to develop the company into the “number 1 integrated maritime logistics group in Vietnam, with a strong reputation and competitiveness in the Asian region and a global reach of operations.”
The development of the vision and strategy is being supported by Roland Berger, which was selected following a competitive bidding process. Roland Berger is a global strategy consulting firm with its roots in Germany. The consulting firm has a strong track record in the maritime and logistics world.
According to the contract, Roland Berger will design strategies that build on Vietnam Maritime Corporation’s current strength and competitive advantages, but also shed light on areas of improvement, greenfield terrains for further growth, and key innovation domains.
Roland Berger will also focus on how Vietnam Maritime Corporation can grow its global footprint through connections with the world’s leading financial, maritime transportation and logistics entities.
The contract was signed on November 6, by senior leaders of Vietnam Maritime Corporation and Roland Berger at a ceremony in Hanoi.
