Willis Towers Watson has appointed a new leader for its Indonesia division: Kameswara Natakusumah.
Kameswara Natakusumah (who is known as Kames) brings close to 25 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new role. He joins Willis Towers Watson from counterpart Marsh, where he was a senior technical advisor. Natakusumah also spent the last three years in several start-up technology companies, including Lifepal Technologies and Kaltimex Mobiol, heading its business operation in Indonesia.
Earlier in his career, Natakusumah held various leadership positions in companies including AXA General Insurance, Aon, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Lippo General Insurance and Asuransi Sinar Mas where he first started his career.
“Kames has extensive experience of the Indonesian market, including within the country’s insurance industry, and is well placed to lead our business in its future growth and market strategy in Indonesia,” said Clare Muhiudeen, Head of Asia at Willis Towers Watson.
Based in Jakarta, Natakusumah leads all aspects of Willis Towers Watson’s business in Indonesia, including account and client management, project delivery, internal operations and thought leadership.
Headquartered in the US, Willis Towers Watson supports clients with three lines of business: human resources advisory, insurance and (re)insurance broking services, and risk management. Muhiudeen: “Kames will work closely with business leaders across the company to bring all of Willis Towers Watson’s services and solutions to clients to support their businesses in Indonesia.”
Natakusumah succeeds Luke Ware, who has recently been named as Head of Corporate Risk & Broking in Asia.
