InSites Consulting has strengthened its footprint in Asia Pacific with the acquisition of Answer Global Market Research.

The bolt-on of Answer comes on the back of a long-standing relationship between the two companies. InSites Consulting (formerly ABN Impact) has been working together with the Taiwan-based firm since 2016, and following the partnership going from strength to strength the duo have now taken their collaboration to the next level.

Answer was founded in 2005 by Vivian Luan, and has grown into a leading boutique market research consultancy in the country. The Taiwanese agency specialises in online qualitative research with a focus on digital communities across sectors including fast moving consumer goods. As part of their collaboration, InSites Consulting has been offering its community platform and technology to Answer’s client base.

For InSites Consulting, a 600 marketing insights research and consulting agency, the move continues its growth in Asia, having acquired ABN Impact in December 2019. “Much like our previous acquisitions, from Join the Dots to ABN Impact, it is a delight to once again onboard a forward-thinking partner that shares our drive to unlock powerful consumer insights through the innovative use of community technology and consultative power,” said Kristof De Wulf, CEO of InSites Consulting.

“We’ve been doing business together for several years, and have experienced Answer as an agency with a similar vision on the future of research and marketing, and with a strong cultural fit.”

Vivian Luan said: “We have a strong match with InSites Consulting, not only in our approach, but also in the types of industries and sectors we service, with a robust focus on fast moving consumer goods.”

The integration will see Vivian Luan, fellow management team member Jennifer Liu (ex-Ogilvy & Mather) and the full team of Answer join InSites Consulting. Answer will transition to the InSites Consulting brand later this year.
