Hall Chadwick continues expansion with Singapore deal and Taiwan office

Australian accounting and consulting firm Hall Chadwick has continued its overseas expansion with the official addition of Assurance PAC in Singapore and a new office launch in Taiwan.
To be led by US and Taiwan certified accountant Vincent Fan, the new branch in Taiwan marks Hall Chadwick’s fifth international expansion in a little over three years, joining outlets recently established in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, and an Auckland office set up at the start of 2022.
The firm’s Singapore practice has also now grown with 130 new professionals via the official addition of Assurance PAC, which will be rebranded as Hall Chadwick Assurance PAC and led by Assurance PAC founding partner Cliff Goh, who earned his commerce degree at Curtin University.
“This milestone reflects our ongoing mission to evolve and adapt to meet our clients’ needs in an ever-changing business landscape,” the firm stated. “By combining our strengths, we anticipate new opportunities, innovation, and continued success for our clients and partners alike”
The deal, which Hall Chadwick said extends its international headcount beyond 1,000 professionals, follows the accounting and consulting firm’s launch in Taiwan, with the new practice adding to a growing Asia footprint which further includes a presence in the Philippines and Korea.
“The opening of our Taiwan office is a natural extension of our strategic growth plan,” stated Hall Chadwick partner Richard Albarran. “With Vincent’s deep expertise and leadership, we are confident in our ability to provide localised, high-quality services to clients in Taiwan while also facilitating seamless cross-border support through our operations in Australia, the US, and beyond.”
A former manager at KPMG and PwC in Shanghai and Taipei, Hall Chadwck said Fan brings a wealth of international tax integration and planning, cross-border M&A, and corporate compliance expertise to the table in Taiwan, underscoring the firm’s commitment to providing top-tier financial and strategic advisory to clients navigating complex international markets.
“We’re excited to support businesses in Taiwan and across the Asia Pacific region,” Fan stated. “With Hall Chadwick’s extensive global network and multidisciplinary expertise, we are well-equipped to help clients achieve sustainable growth, manage risk, and seize new opportunities in an increasingly interconnected world.”
Remarkable growth
Hall Chadwick noted that in addition to its geographical expansion, the firm has also been busy broadening its services offerings beyond its traditional accounting, audit and assurance base, with strengthened expertise in areas such as management consulting, corporate advisory & finance, turnaround & restructuring, forensic accounting, and wealth management.
The focus on expanding its services portfolio has contributed to Hall Chadwick becoming one of the fastest-growing accountancies in Australia, with the firm jumping three places into 16th spot on last year’s annual AFR rankings on the back of massive 34 percent growth, its revenues accordingly rising from $90 million to the $120 million mark in a single twelve-month period.
“This is not merely a testament to our numbers but a reflection of the values, dedication, and collaboration that drives us every day,” Hall Chadwick national chairman David Lissauer said of the revenue burst. “While we are incredibly proud of this remarkable growth, we see it not as a conclusion but a foundation for even greater achievements.”
