Synpulse promotes Andreas Mettenberger and Adrien Thonet to partner
Synpulse, an international consultancy to financial institutions, has appointed Hong Kong-based duo Andreas Mettenberger and Adrien Thonet as partners.
Now in his ninth year with Synpulse, Andreas Mettenberger has played an important role in the expansion of the firm’s wealth and asset management practice in Asia-Pacific. He has expertise in digitalisation, operating model design, and regulatory readiness, and leads the firm’s WealthCockpit implementation offering for financial institutions across the region.
Adrien Thonet has been a driving force behind Synpulse’s growth in the Avaloq space (Avaloq is a banking and wealth management technology provider). He has over a decade of expertise across Avaloq projects, with a focus on the wealth management and private banking segments. Alongside Asia-Pacific, Thonet also supports projects in the Middle East.
Salomon Wettstein, Managing Partner and Head of North Asia at Synpulse commented: “The promotions of Andreas and Adrien underscore the strength and maturity of our Hong Kong and North Asia platform. As the region continues to emerge as a strategic growth engine for Synpulse, their leadership reflects both the depth of our local capabilities and our long-term commitment to investing in this market.”
“This is an important step in building a sustainable leadership bench to support our clients’ ambitions across North Asia.”
Yves Roesti, CEO and Managing Partner of Synpulse, added: “The addition of Adrien and Andreas as partners reflects Synpulse’s commitment to investing in exceptional talent and leadership. Their energy and forward‑looking vision will further propel our teams and clients toward bold, transformative growth across APAC and beyond.”
In 2026, Synpulse is celebrating its 30-year anniversary. The Switzerland-headquartered business has more than 1,000 professionals across 20+ locations.
