Kearney appoints senior partners Keat Yap and Marco de la Rosa to new top roles

Global management consulting firm Kearney has made two senior appointments in its Asia-Pacific business.

In Malaysia, Kearney has elected Keat Yap, Senior Partner at the firm, as its new Country Head. Keat has been with Kearney since 2008, focusing on areas such as strategic operations, transformation, turnaround, procurement, and supply chain management. Based in the firm’s Kuala Lumpur office, Keat works all throughout the APAC region.

In his new role, he leads Kearney’s strategic direction, client portfolio, and operations in the Malaysian market. “His international experience and commitment to delivering real client impact position him well to strengthen the growth trajectory of our Malaysian business,” stated Kearney in a release.

Keat will continue in his current role of APAC Lead for Kearney’s Product Excellence and Renewal Lab.

Marco de la Rosa meanwhile has been elevated to Communications, Media, and Technology practice lead for Asia-Pacific. A Senior Partner, Marco has 20 years of experience across Asia-Pacific and the United States, supporting clients with large-scale transformations, improving top- and bottom-line performance, customer experience, and operational improvement.

“Marco brings a collaborative philosophy to his work that helps his clients get the solutions they need and finds joy in the learning opportunities he encounters through consulting,” according to his bio on the Kearney site.

In a dual role, Marco will continue to lead the Philippines business of Kearney. He operates out of the firm’s Manila and Singapore offices.

Globally, Kearney – which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary – has more than 5,700 employees working from 60+ offices around the world – including 16 in Asia-Pacific.
