Yuta Inokuchi new Japan leader at strategy firm L.E.K. Consulting
L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consultancy firm, has appointed Yuta Inokuchi as the new leader of its Japan business.
Yuta Inokuchi is partner and co-head of L.E.K. Consulting’s Tokyo office and a member of the firm’s Life Sciences practice. He is a biopharmaceutical and healthcare specialist, and has led projects in biopharma and biotech, medical devices, contractor services, life sciences tools, and broader healthcare sectors.
Inokuchi advises clients on a range of topics, with a focus on strategy, commercial growth, organizational strategy, and commercial due diligence in the context of mergers & acquisitions.

Commenting on his new challenge, Inokuchi said that the Tokyo-based leadership team has an ambitious growth plan for the business in Japan, which they have already started delivering.
Prior to his move in strategy consulting, Inokuchi worked at Japanese consulting firms in Singapore and Tokyo, supporting companies in their growth strategy and business development in the Asia-Pacific region. He also spent time as a researcher at the University of California, studying cell and molecular biology.
L.E.K. Consulting was founded in 1983 by three former partners from Bain & Company. The firm launched its Tokyo office in 2002.
