L.E.K. adds three in Asia among worldwide partnership promotions

Global advisory L.E.K. Consulting has added 19 new partners worldwide, including Yuta Inokuhi, Eric Wang and Charles Dirrig in Asia.

L.E.K. Consulting has added 19 new members to its partnership ranks around the world, including Asia-based trio Yuta Inokushi in the management consultancy’s Tokyo office, Eric Wang in Shanghai, and Charles Dirrig in Bejing.

Yuta Inokuchi

A member of the firm’s Life Sciences practice, Inokuchi holds a Masters in Biochemistry, Molecular Neuroscience with the University of Tokyo and is a biopharmaceutical and healthcare specialist, having led projects in biopharma and biotech, medical devices, contractor services, life sciences tools, and broader healthcare sectors in areas such as growth and organisational strategy and transaction support.

Yuta Inokuchi, Eric Wang and Charles Dirrig - LEK Consulting

Inokuchi fist joined L.E.K in 2014 for a year and a half following periods with consultancies Nomura Research Institute and SIGMAXY in Tokyo and Singapore, and after a brief detour as a business development manager with Japanese firm Informetis returned to L.E.K. in 2016. Since then, Inokuchi has steadily worked his way up the L.E.K. ranks, first being elevated to Principal at the beginning of last year.

Eric Wang

Based in L.E.K’s Shanghai office, Wang serves clients in the automotive, energy, logistics, chemicals and high tech sectors in among other areas strategy development, mergers & acquisitions and operation transformation. Graduating with a master’s in Chemical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2006, he has since amassed more than a decade of consulting and industry experience.

Prior to joining L.E.K. as a principal toward the beginning of 2018, Wang served for over eight and a half years at A.T. Kearney (now rebranded as Kearney), where he rose to manager level in the strategy and management consultancy’s Shanghai office. Earlier in his career he spent years at ExxonMobil as a sales engineer, responsible for specialty chemical product sales development in China’s east and south region.

Charles Dirrig

A specialist in the consumer and industrial goods sectors out of Beijing, Dirrig, who holds full proficiency in Mandarin, advises major buyout funds and leading corporate clients on due diligence, strategy, sales and distribution, digital, and M&A. Prior to joining L.E.K. in the middle of 2018, Dirrig spent seven and a half years at Roland Berger in Beijing. He holds an MSc. from ParisTech.
