Indonesia has welcomed the permanent arrival of a new management consulting firm: LanciaConsult.

Fast-growing business advisory LanciaConsult is expanding to one of the world’s fastest-growing cities, with a new office in Jakarta joining its existing offices in Singapore, the United Kingdom and Germany.

To support its Indonesian expansion, LanciaConsult has also welcomed its first local team member, Managing Consultant Adhy Al Hosen, who brings over two decades of professional services experience from across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

“The establishment of our Jakarta office represents a significant step in our expansion in the region,” said Chun Seong Lim, LanciaConsult’s executive director for the Asia Pacific. “We feel grateful to be in closer proximity to our Indonesian partners and clients and look forward to a bright future of growth. We’re excited about what the future holds and look forward to serving this dynamic city.”

Expanding further on the firm’s motivations for selecting Indonesia as its newest expansion hub, Lim cited a number of reasons: not only is Jakarta one the world’s fastest-growing cities, but Indonesia as a whole is Southeast Asia’s largest economy with a population in excess of 270 million. The country also has a vibrant workforce, with a high number of young and skilled professionals with expertise across various industries.

Moreover, LanciaConsult says that it already has many strategic partners in the country gearing up for the go-to-market plans, and has previously conducted a number of local projects in areas such as organisation design, technology leadership and digital transformation. Recent engagements include a technology maturity assessment and strategy project for a state-owned pharmaceutical group and market research for a global shipping company.

As for the initial focus while it builds up its local team during 2023, LanciaConsult will be looking to replicate its successful consulting service offerings from Singapore to support growing Indonesian businesses in sectors such as fintech, supply chain, and real estate, while executing a strong go-to-market strategy with technology partners for cloud adoption, digital transformation, and change management.

Another facet LanciaConsult will be aiming to replicate from Singapore: the firm’s phenomenal rate of growth. Founded in 2012 and celebrating its 10-year anniversary last year, LanciaConsult was recently named by Statista as one of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies, achieving a CAGR of almost 28% over the past four years on its march toward the $10 million revenue mark. The firm has also close to tripled its headcount over the same period.

Meanwhile, LanciaConsult has also been featured in the Financial Times’ 2023 edition of the top 500 high-growth companies in Asia Pacific.

In a post to LinkedIn celebrating the new office, LanciaConsult CEO and co-founder Jeffrey Cronkshaw said that the firm couldn’t wait to work with its clients in Indonesia and welcome new colleagues to the team. “From day one our strategy has been to be a multi-office consulting business, adding geographies is part of our DNA at LanciaConsult. Indonesia is awesome, one of the fastest growing economies in the world.”
