WTW promotes Tony Kantapasara to Thailand country leader
Willis Towers Watson has installed a new leader for its Thailand organisation, promoting Tony Kantapasara from within its own ranks.
Kantapasara has been with the global advisory, broking and solutions company since 2017, and brings with him 15 years of experience in advisory and business consulting across Southeast Asia to the top seat.
He steps up from the Work & Rewards business, which he led in Thailand and IndoChina. “Tony has been instrumental in growing our Work & Rewards business, doubling the client base in his region to more than 800 companies across various industries,” said Clare Muhiudeen, Head of Asia at Willis Towers Watson.
Kantapasara assumes the country leadership position from Philippe Robineau, who will focus on Willis Towers Watson’s operations in Vietnam as Country Leader and Head of Corporate Risk & Broking for Vietnam.
“I’m delighted to be given this opportunity to lead our operations and team in Thailand. As we move forward in the next phase of our domestic growth, this is an exciting time where we can play a critical role in helping organisations transform tomorrows and be more resilient and sustainable through our comprehensive services and solutions,” said Kantapasara.
Willis Towers Watson has been present in Thailand for roughly 25 years.
“I am confident that Tony will continue to solidify our proposition and support clients in Thailand with innovative solutions that address today’s complex challenges,” said Muhiudeen.
Prior to serving Willis Towers Watson, Kantapasara spent eight years at rival Mercer working in its human capital consulting business in Thailand and Singapore.
Earlier this year, Willis Towers Watson named Choo Oi San its new leader for the Singapore organisation.
