Bain & Company appoints five new partners in Asia
Bain & Company has made five partner appointments across its Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and Bengaluru offices.
Andrea Campagnoli
Based out of Singapore, Campagnoli is a partner in Bain’s Private Equity practice, with a focus on the technology and financial services sectors in Southeast Asia. Campagnoli has previously worked in a variety of sectors in just under a decade at the strategy consulting firm, with stints at Bain’s offices in Sao Paulo, London, and now Singapore.
Navneet Chahal
Chahal is now a partner in Bain’s Bengaluru office, specialising in the areas of consumer retail, ecommerce, sales acceleration, customer experience and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). With prior experience at Microsoft, Chahal joined Bain’s Bengaluru practice in 2010, and has stayed with the firm barring an eight-month spell managing business operations at CureFit.
Kyoungjun Jang
Jang has working for Bain & Company in Seoul for more than 12 years, having previously worked as a researcher at Samsung for four years. Jang now joins the partnership of the Seoul office, and is specialised in industrial goods & services including machinery, chemicals and automotive parts, among other segments.
Takashi Ohara
Ohara has been appointed a partner in Tokyo, and works for a number of practices: Technology, Telecommunications, Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategy. He has been at Bain’s Tokyo office for nearly seven years now, with significant expertise in corporate turnaround and growth strategies, as well as mergers & acquisitions. Over the years, he has leveraged this expertise to serve clients in the electronics, automotive and consumer products sectors, among others.
Before joining Bain & Company in 2013, Ohara was a Manager at boutique strategic consultancy Corporate Value Associates.
Yukiko Tsukamoto
Tsukamoto is also based in Bain’s Tokyo office, and is a partner in the firm’s Financial Services and Consumer Products practices. An MBA from Harvard, Tsukamoto has nearly 15 years of consulting experience across the Japan, Southeast Asia and America markets, with more than 13 years at Bain.
Global partner promotions
The five new appointments across Asia are part of a worldwide promotion drive at Bain & Company. The firm made 45 new partner appointments across 27 of its global offices as of the start of this month, 13 of which are women.
The latest promotion drive follows one at the start of this year, when Bain appointed new partners in 40 offices across the globe, a fifth of which were spread across the Asia Pacific region.
