Dream Incubator and Dentsu launch India market entry and growth offering

Japan-based firm Dream Incubator has joined forces with Dentsu to roll out ‘Go-to-India Solutions’ – an integrated service designed to assist Japanese companies with entering and scaling in India.

The new offering brings together Dream Incubator’s strategic consulting, market entry and growth capabilities with Dentsu’s deep insight into Indian society, consumer behaviour, and socio-economic trends.

Dream Incubator is one of Japan’s and Asia’s leading consulting firms. The firm has been active in the Indian market since 2014. Dentsu meanwhile is one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing groups with offices around the world, including five in India.

The two companies say that the new solution provides one-stop support from planning through execution. Dream Incubator will contribute market‐entry assessment, business strategy formulation, and scaling support – leveraging its experience advising Japanese companies entering new international markets. Dentsu brings deep knowledge of Indian society, market dynamics, and consumer insights.

The offering is geared at companies in the manufacturing, retail, professional services, and technology sectors.

Dream Incubator and Dentsu will also help existing companies in India with the launch of new ventures of initiatives, and with companies seeking to boost their profitability or brand recognition in the local market.

The launch comes against a backdrop of strong growth opportunities in India. Yet entering the market can be complex: regional diversity, multi-language markets, evolving business models and rising digitalisation pose significant challenges for foreign entrants.

“India is gaining attention as a frontier market for Japanese companies. However, there are significant challenges in entering the local market. To address these challenges, we are combining our strengths to create a unique support service,” said Takayuki Miyake, President and CEO of Dream Incubator.
