Asian accounting and advisory firms join global networks
Local accounting and advisory firms in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines have joined international groups.
In Bangladesh, Dhaka-based Khan Akber & Co. has joined Allinial Global, a global associations of accounting firms. Khan Akber & Co. offers a wide range of services, including accounting, taxation, payroll, audit, corporate finance, business support services, and consulting. The firm also helps startups with company setup and incorporation, as well as foreign corporations setting up shop in Bangladesh.
The local professional services firm works for privately owned companies, start-ups, small public companies, and high net worth individuals.
In Singapore, Fiducia has joined Integra International, another global associations of accounting and consulting firms, with its member base comprising over 4,000 professionals.
Fiducia has a team of a 3 partner and 65 staff, supporting clients with an end-to-end portfolio of audit, accounting, tax, assurance and consulting services. The company is led by managing partner Wayne Soo, who previously held senior roles at EY in Malaysia and Singapore.
Bolstering its presence in Malaysia, Integra International has admitted Pro B Centre / Cheng & Co. to its ranks. The Kuala Lumpur headquartered firm has 41 partners and 90 staff, and also has offices in Singapore, Perth, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
Meanwhile, in Manila, Ali & Co. has become a member firm of Integra International. The firm has two partners and 24 staff, and is focused mainly on audit and accountancy services, including accounting and bookkeeping, assurance, financial reviews and compilation engagements.
Last week International trade and investment advisory OCO Global launched a new office in Shanghai.
