Consultancies to showcase innovation labs across Singapore
As part of the Singapore Fintech Festival, the coming two days will see a large number of enterprises across the city open the doors to their innovation labs.
As the conference portion of the Singapore Fintech Festival wraps up for another year, technology and finance enthusiasts can turn their attention to the scores of innovation labs swinging open their doors over the next two days across the city. Along with a number of other organisations, participating consultancies include Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, EY, KPMG, Synechron, and PwC. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, as places are limited.
Deloitte – a Singapore Fintech Festival grand sponsor – will showcase its Future of X Innovation Lab to the public on Thursday morning at the Deloitte Future of Mobility Solution Centre – which was launched in the second half of last year. The lab will offer participants “the opportunity to take part in interactive discussions with industry leaders and practitioners, and experience first-hand some of the latest innovative technologies from across the ecosystem.”
Fellow Big Four professional services firm Ernst & Young will also welcome the public to its wavespace innovation centre on Thursday morning – which was also launched over the past year – as will KPMG with its Digital Village, which describes its mission as helping corporates think and act like technology companies. For the lab crawl, KPMG Digital Village will showcase “projects that used digital platforms to help differentiate its clients’ businesses.”
The last of the Big Four quartet – PwC – will also hold a brief session at its Southeast Asia Consulting Experience Centre on Thursday morning, exploring of a “range of technologies and ideas enabling value creation for customers, businesses, and employees.” Yet another lab which launched last year – in fact during year’s last year’s lab crawl – Synechron’s Financial Innovation Lab (FinLab), will hold a number of sessions during the morning and early afternoon.
Last but not least on Thursday from the upper-market tech and consultancy brigade, Capgemini will host two live Innovators Lounge sessions at the Applied Innovation Exchange in collaboration with ecosystem partners the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), SG:D Accreditation and Plug and Play. Open from 10am – 4pm, the Lounge will host “a curated guestlist of business leaders, the hottest enterprise-grade startups and open innovation experts.”
And on Friday, global professional services giant Accenture will join the party with a morning and afternoon session at Accenture Digital Hub’s Liquid Studio Singapore. Merging agile prototyping with expertise across disruptive technologies such as blockchain and extended reality, Accenture declares; “The Liquid Studio is where we start to bring ideas to life!” Participants to all lab crawl events are advised to register early.
