GHD appoints Sheldon Krahe as leader of Power practice in Asia

GHD, an engineering and consulting group with 12,000 people worldwide, has appointed Sheldon Krahe as leader of its Power practice in Asia.

Krahe has more than 30 years of experience in engineering and project management, including the past decade living and working in Asia. He steps up from a leadership role in GHD’s Energy business.

In his new role, Krahe will work with GHD’s clients and teams in Asia to strengthen relationships, expand capability and support the delivery of power infrastructure projects.

Sheldon’s appointment reflects our focus on this region, to building capability and supporting our clients as they respond to changing energy needs and investment priorities,” said Rory Waddell, an executive at GHD.

Headquartered in Australia, GHD is a professional services company operating across transportation, water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings. The company operates on five continents, with Asia earmarked as a key growth market for the years ahead.

In Asia, GHD has a team of more than 1,300 employees working from offices in the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia.
