Corporate Directions and Aranca forge partnership for India and US market entry

Japan-based Corporate Directions has signed a strategic agreement with Aranca, an India-headquartered research and analytics firm.

The partnership between the two internationally operating firms centres on market entry services into the Indian market and, to a lesser extent, the American market.

Corporate Directions is a management consulting firm serving clients in Japan and the wider ASEAN region across strategy, mergers & acquisitions, market entry, and performance improvement. Last year, the firm opened a base in India to meet growing demand from Japanese clients seeking to enter or expand in the rapidly growing Indian market.

Its latest partnership with Aranca further extends the support it can offer Japanese companies, with a particular focus on the manufacturing and electronic components sectors.

“In recent years, India has seen significant growth in the production of finished products such as information and communications equipment, home appliances, and industrial machinery. Following this, domestic production capacity is expected to shift from finished products to the parts industry over the next few years,” said Ogawa Tatsuhiro, CEO of Corporate Directions.

“Against this backdrop, this partnership will strengthen support for Japanese manufacturing and electronics companies entering the Indian market.”

Corporate Directions will also work with Aranca to support Japanese healthcare companies looking to enter or expand in the US market. “We will combine our track records in healthcare to support Japanese healthcare companies with a wide range of services in the US market, including market entry, transformation, mergers & acquisitions, and marketing,” Tatsuhiro added.

Corporate Directions has, over the years, advised several medical device and pharmaceutical companies operating globally. The consulting firm also collaborates with governments on healthcare policy and works with hospitals.

Founded in 2003, Aranca has offices in India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the US. The company provides research and market intelligence services to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. “Through this collaboration with Corporate Directions, we will strengthen our ability to provide strategic counsel to the companies we work with,” said Prabir Chetia, Head of Growth Advisory at Aranca.
