Professional services firm Acclime expands into South Korea

Acclime, a regional provider of professional services firms, has expanded into South Korea with the launch of a new office in Seoul.

Founded in 2019, Acclime is provider of business advisory, tax, and governance services to clients across Asia Pacific. The consulting firm has over 1,700 people in 17 countries.

South Korea now becomes the firm’s 18th market. “South Korea is an important market for us. Our presence enhances our ability to support Korean companies expanding overseas and international clients entering the Korean market,” said Izzy Silva, Group CEO of Acclime. “This expansion underscores our commitment to building a regional platform that simplifies doing business across borders.”

In South Korea, Acclime aims to become an established partner for clients seeking corporate, accounting, tax, HR, and advisory solutions.

Over the next months, Acclime will establish a dedicated office in Seoul, recruit local talent to grow its team, and fully integrate its South Korean operations into the Acclime regional platform.

Leading the Seoul operation are industry experts Hyun Jung (Joann) Kong and Hwa Sook Lee. Both have vast experience assisting Korean clients expand abroad as well as helping foreign clients enter and manage the complexities of the South Korean market.

“The combination of their networks and client base with Acclime’s platform will provide a compelling proposition to clients with a Korean connection,” said Silva.
