YCP appoints Karambir Anand as Managing Partner for Southeast Asia

Asian management consulting firm YCP has appointed Karambir Anand as its new Managing Partner for Southeast Asia.

Joining YCP from McKinsey & Company, Karambir Anand brings over 20 years of strategy and management consulting experience to his leadership role. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions, strategy development, growth strategy and market entry, new business building, and value creation. From an industry perspective, he focuses on oil & gas, energy, agribusiness, and industrials.

Most recently at McKinsey, Anand was a member of the M&A and Energy and Materials practices, based out of the firm’s Jakarta office. Before that, he was a partner at EY-Parthenon in its Transaction Advisory Services practice, overseeing projects such as commercial due diligence and merger integrations across various industries.

Earlier, he spent a dozen years at Kearney, where he grew the ranks from business analyst through to principal, working mostly on client engagements in the energy and resources sectors.

At YCP, he oversees the firm’s offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
