Who’s Who: Kuhan Jeganathan, Partner at Oliver Wyman in Kuala Lumpur
In Who’s Who, Consultancy Asia profiles leaders from across the management consulting industry. This edition: Kuhan Jeganathan, a partner in the Kuala Lumpur office of Oliver Wyman.
Kuhan Jeganathan started his career in consulting and has advised businesses and government-linked companies in Southeast Asia, the US, Europe, and Middle East. He has also held roles in the corporate and commercial domains, including the CEO of a private venture capital fund, as well as the head of strategy in Malaysia’s second largest telecommunications carrier and Malaysia’s largest subscription satellite television company respectively.
In May this year, Jeganathan joined Oliver Wyman as a partner in the Consumer & Industrials practice. He works on high-impact projects that span corporate strategy and policy development, portfolio review and value creation, customer experience, sustainability, renewable energy, smart cities, digital transformation and supply chain.
“I always look to grasp what our clients desire versus what they need. Working in concert with clients, putting your skin in the game by being hands-on and not shying away from details, and helping entrench change at all levels of the client organization set good versus great advisors apart.”
Asked about his goals for the coming months, Jeganathan said he plans to re-engage with key client contacts through a strategic, targeted approach, ensuring that the firm’s interventions are both impactful and aligned with its client engagement principles.
“My mid-to-long-term objectives include fostering enduring relationships with key organisations, enhancing Oliver Wyman’s market presence, and fortifying the firm’s bench strength in Malaysia by recruiting top talent in the energy, consumer and industrials, transportation, and public sectors.”
“My strategic vision also encompasses a broader engagement with industry forums, conferences and events. By participating in these platforms and delivering thought leadership, I aim to elevate Oliver Wyman’s profile and underscore its expertise.”
