Korn Ferry ties advisory partnership with Workday in Japan
Korn Ferry has inked an advisory-focused agreement with Workday, one of the world’s largest providers of systems for HR and Finance departments. The partnership covers the Japanese market.
With the new partnership agreement, Korn Ferry becomes the first formal Advisory Partner of Workday in the Japanese market.
The agreement will see Korn Ferry enjoy the status of preferred partner for strategic and organizational consulting matters relating to Workday implementations, and broader (digital) transformation endeavours in the HR and Finance domains.
For Workday, the partnership with the leading human capital consultancy will help its clients make better use of its technology.
“We are very pleased to be able to welcome Korn Ferry, a long-established expert in organizational consulting, as Workday’s first advisory partner in Japan,” said Takumi Masai, President of Workday in Japan.
“The value expected to be created by the partnership includes integrated support from planning to execution of HR strategies, an easier and more realistic shift to job-based human capital management and strengthening the support system for companies seeking global human resources.”
“Workday has supported a great many customers with its HR solutions, and we believe our close partnership with Korn Ferry will enable us to support even more Japanese companies with their HR transformation projects,” he continued.
Junichi Takinami, Office Managing Director of Korn Ferry in Japan, said that the partnership will help the consulting firm enhance its services to existing clients using Workday, and expand its portfolio of clients through referrals from Workday.
While the partnership is initially focused on organizations in Japan, Takinami said that the alliance is expected to expand globally through a formal, worldwide agreement between the two companies.
