Ignatius Tong joins AlixPartners as partner and Greater China co-leader
AlixPartners has boosted its China-focused business with the strategic hire of Ignatius Tong, who comes on board as Greater China Co-Leader.
Appointed a Partner & Managing Director, Ignatius Tong brings over 25 years of experience in management consulting to AlixPartners, with a focus on operational improvements, distribution models as well as strategic growth in the consumer goods, automotive and chemical industries.
Tong joins from EY, where he was the Asia-Pacific Leader of EY-Parthenon, the firm’s strategy consulting business. Previously, he served as Managing Partner of Roland Berger in Greater China.
During his career, Tong has spearheaded large-scale projects, including M&A carveouts, cost optimization, and integrations, and has tackled complex operational issues such as organizational design and cultural integration.
Now at AlixPartners, a global management consulting firm with offices in more than 20 cities around the world, Tong will advise clients on strategy, growth, and operational excellence.
Tong will serve as Greater China Co-Leader alongside fellow Partner & Managing Director, Stephen Dyer.
