US-headquartered Guidepoint connects clients with vetted subject matter experts across any conceivable industry or area of expertise. According to its own records, the expert network has over 1.4 million advisors in its network, who helps clients with services ranging from short telco’s and meetings for insights exploration, to canvassing respondents for research and pursuing in-depth exploration of critical subjects.

Guidepoint works with multinationals, corporates, hedge funds, private equity groups and consulting firms. “We help consultants compile numerous opinions and data points as they complete due diligence on companies, markets, and products; work on market assessments; and research product launches,” states the company on its own website.

In Beijing, the new office will be located at the Beijing Kerry Center, a building in the heart of Chaoyang District. Yanni Yang, Guidepoint’s Head of China, said that the firm picked the district for its proximity with some of the group’s trusted clients. “Many of China’s largest companies, as well as some of the world’s top 500 companies that have invested in China, have their headquarters located in the district,” she said.

“Our clients in Beijing and the region will be able to benefit from our dedicated support on the ground,” Yang added.
