Andrew McGinn joins Capco as partner and SEA digital leader
Global financial services consultancy Capco has welcomed a new partner to its team in South East Asia: Andrew McGinn.
Based in Singapore, McGinn has been tasked with leading Capco’s digital strategy and transformation offering across South East Asia. Capco has two offices in South East Asia (Singapore and Thailand), and ten across Asia (five of which are in India).
“We are seeing strong momentum across South East Asia in virtual banking, the adoption of innovative business models, digital banking innovation, and new customer experience models. Andrew’s deep experience in these areas will be invaluable to help our clients execute” said James Arnett, Asia Pacific Managing Partner at Capco.
McGinn has over 15 years of experience, including technology-focused senior leadership roles at Boston Consulting Group, Javelin Group (a subsidiary of Accenture), as well as CEO of This Place, a customer experience business providing digital transformation and delivery for global brands. He started his career as a graduate at supermarket chain Tesco.
“I’m delighted to be joining the rapidly growing Capco team in South East Asia,” said McGinn about his move.
Lance Levy, CEO of Capco, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew. Capco is ideally placed to help clients initiate and accelerate their agendas for digital transformation in the region. Andrew’s passion for delivering results for his clients will be instrumental to advancing our partnerships as we enable our customers in navigating this evolving marketplace.”
In April this year, Capco will join forces with numerous Wipro units – notably Designit and other recently acquired outfits – to form the new global Wipro Consulting division. The re-jig into four distinct business units is part of Wipro’s new strategy to provide more focus on its core areas of business.
