Arthur D. Little promotes Yu Hamada to partner in Tokyo office
Global strategy and management consultancy Arthur D. Little has appointed a new partner in Tokyo: Yu Hamada.
Yu Hamada has been with Arthur D. Little since 2020, having previously worked for Deloitte Consulting for over a decade. Before that, Hamade spent six years with another consultancy.
A member of Arthur D. Little’s Automotive & Manufacturing industry group, Hamada specialises in topics including corporate strategy, growth acceleration, new business creation and execution, and organisation transformation.
In his work with clients, Hamada is also passionate about industry-convergent themes – including topic such as mobility, public and social infrastructure, public services, and smart cities.
Hamada, who holds a bachelor’s degree (in Informatics and Mathematical Science) from Kyoto University, becomes Arthur D. Little’s tenth partner in Tokyo. The Japanese business is led by Hiroto Suzuki, who also is the firm’s global leader of the Automotive & Manufacturing practice.

Earlier this year in Asia, Arthur D. Little promoted Mitsuhiro Henry Umebayashi to partner in Singapore.
