KordaMentha promotes Catherine Lee to partner in Singapore
Australian professional services firm KordaMentha has promoted Singapore-based company member Catherine Lee to partner.
Catherine Lee brings over two decades of experience in providing forensic investigative and advisory services to clients in technology, manufacturing, retail & consumer and financial services in the United States, China, and Southeast Asia to the partnership.
A member of KordaMentha’s Forensic practice, Lee leads the practice across Singapore and Jakarta – the firm’s two offices outside of Australia.
Lee specialises in providing technology advisory services which includes the acquisition and examination of electronic evidence and the analysis of electronic data for a variety of purposes, including corporate fraud and FCPA investigations, expert analysis and testimony, software license compliance reviews, and litigation support.
She has extensive experience working with digital forensic tools (such as EnCase, Cellebrite, MacQuisition, Blacklight, Magnet Axiom) and forensic discovery tools (such as Concordance, Stratify, Nuix, Relativity, Veritas eDiscovery).
“I feel very honoured and proud to be part of this fantastic group of leaders at KordaMentha,” says Lee in a post on LinkedIn, in which she also reaches out to thank some of the “great mentors” that have helped her grow along the way – including fellow Singapore-based KordaMentha partner Matthew Fleming.
A number of other mentors that received praise are (retired) PwC partners, owing to Lee’s seven year period at the firm. At PwC, Lee spent four years in the United States and three years in China, where she built up the forensic technology practice in mainland China. Earlier in her career, Lee worked in the Chicago and San Francisco offices of Navigant Consulting (now: Ankura) for five years.
Meanwhile, in Australia, KordaMentha appointed 11 new partners across its Melbourne and Sydney office.
