Yi Ying joins Sandpiper Health as an Account Manager from life sciences group Janssen where she supported communications across various therapeutic areas including pulmonary hypertension, neuroscience, and ophthalmology.

Her remit at Janssen included driving patient-centric programmes in Asia Pacific such as engaging with patient advocacy groups to increase awareness of the importance of integrating patient voice and preferences in health policy making.

Launched earlier this year, Sandpiper Health was formed by the integration of the health practices of Sandpiper and the recently acquired North Head.

“We are one of the only healthcare consultancies in Asia Pacific able to offer a full-service offering in public affairs, policy, and corporate communications,” according to Emma Smith, CEO of Sandpiper.

Sarada Chellam, Director at Sandpiper Health added: “Our focus is to have the right mix of expertise within our team to deliver world-class, holistic solutions to our clients. The specialist skills, experience, and new ideas that Elaine and Yi Ying bring, make them great additions to our regional team.”
