Ogilvy promotes Arvind Srivastava to Chief Strategy Officer for Asia
Global marketing and creative group Ogilvy has promoted Arvind Srivastava to Chief Strategy Officer for Asia.
Stepping into the shoes of Benoit Wiesser who will be relocating to Europe to be closer to family, Arvind Srivastava brings nearly two decades of experience at Ogilvy in various roles across several Asian markets to the position.
“I feel truly honoured to be given this responsibility. I am excited at the opportunity to partner with our leaders to continue evolving and modernizsng Ogilvy Asia’s strategic solutions to drive growth and impact for our clients,” said Srivastava on his new challenge.
Srivastava started his career as a CRM planner at Ogilvy in Delhi, and went on to hold several roles of growing seniority in the Indian organisation. He moved to Shanghai (where he still is based) in 2016 and for the past five years he has helped build Ogilvy’s strategy offering bringing together brand, commerce, data, media and social media offerings.
He also led and anchored Ogilvy China’s strategy for global clients such as Nestlé and The Coca-Cola Company and played a key role on large Chinese brands, including AliExpress.
