M&A consultancy Equiteq promotes four members in Singapore

Global M&A consultancy Equiteq has promoted four of its team members in Singapore to the next level.

Arun Nayak has been promoted to Director. He has over a decade of experience advising companies on strategy, deals and financing. He has been with Equiteq since March last year, when he joined from EY where he was a member of the corporate finance team. Prior to that, Nayak served DC Advisory across its US and Indian offices.

Nayak focuses on managing and executing sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions and growth equity fundraising projects for founder-owned or private equity backed companies and larger corporations across South East Asia and India. He specialises in deals in the technology services and software sectors.

Long Hui Yuen and Shawn Giam have been promoted to Senior Analyst. Yuen has over two year of experiences in mergers & acquisitions and corporate investments, and provides support throughout the transaction lifecycle, with responsibilities including financial analysis, document preparation and targeted researches. He previously gained experience at SooChow CSSD Capital Markets and PwC.

Giam has been with Equiteq since early 2020, when he joined the consulting firm as an intern. Prior to joining the company, he gained experience in the Valuations team of PwC.

Rounding off the promotions in Asia, Tibere Simonnet has been promoted to Analyst. His promotion comes a year after he joined the firm following his graduation from ESSEC Business School in Singapore.
