Christopher Marks joins Ankura in its Hong Kong office
Global consulting firm Ankura has bolstered its team in Hong Kong with the addition of Christopher Marks.
Apppointed a Senior Managing Director in Ankura’s Data & Technology practice, Marks brings over 25 years of experience to the firm, with a focus on investigations and forensics. His track record spans over two decades in digital investigations with close involvement and oversight of cross-border litigation support, digital forensics, legal document review and FCPA investigations.
Marks has carried out complex investigations to civil and criminal standards, with courtroom experience, utilising his understanding of the electronic evidence aspects of an investigation and applying relevant best practices.
He is skilled in the project management of e-discovery engagements through all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and helps clients respond to cybersecurity incidents using his many years of computer forensic experience.
Marks has worked with companies in many industries, but most extensively in financial services, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, mining, consumer and diversified industrial products, medical devices, and gaming.
Before joining Ankura, he was a Senior Managing Director and co-lead of the Asia technology practice at FTI Consulting and an Associate Partner at a Big Four firm EY, both based in Hong Kong. Prior to relocating to Asia in 2017, Marks spent over a decade at EY in the UK, as well as at Baker Tilly. In between, he worked for two other companies as an IT Forensic Investigator and an IT Security Specialist.
