Sing Ling Koh joins R/GA as director of finance & operations

Global design and tech innovation consultancy R/GA has appointed Sing Ling Koh as its new Executive Director of Finance & Operations for Asia-Pacific. 

Sing Ling Koh joins R/GA from rival Dentsu, where she was Chief Financial Officer of Dentsu in Singapore and worked closely with local Chief Executive Officer Prakash Kamdar and the leadership team to drive growth and keep financials under control.

Explaining why she crossed over to R/GA, Koh remarked, “I’m excited to join one of the most innovative and collaborative companies in the world. Based in Singapore, Koh will oversee the finance and business operations for R/GA’s offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, and two in Australia: in Melbourne and Sydney. Globally, New York headquartered R/GA (part of advertising and marketing giant The Interpublic Group) has more than 1,600 employees working from 16 offices. 

“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Sing Ling to this role,” said Tuomas Peltoniemi, Managing Director APAC at R/GA. 

Koh has nearly two decades of experience under her belt. Prior to Dentsu, she held financial leadership positions at Communisis and Reach. At both companies, she implemented analysis and reporting processes to provide visibility amongst senior leadership, forecast accuracy, and ensure business growth. 

As part of her remit, Koh will join R/GA’s executive leadership team for Asia Pacific, and in a dual reporting line report to regional boss Peltoniemi and to recently installed Global Chief Financial Officer Tania Secor.
