Inter Group joins ASEAN professional services group OneSMP

ASEAN based accounting and business advisory group OneSMP has expanded its footprint in Singapore and Myanmar with the admission of Inter Group into its network. 

Founded in 2017, OneSMP is one of the larger home grown Asian professional services firms. The network brings together boutique and niche professional services firms that work in collaboration to broaden and deepen their offerings, and work cross-border to provide their clients with a pan-Asian service. 

Since its inception, OneSMP has grown into a network of players across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos and Myanmar. 

The latest member to join its ranks is Inter Group, which has been in business in Singapore since 2006. Inter Group is a management consulting firm specialising in business consulting and advisory, finance and risk & compliance. The firm, which has just under 50 professionals (including a team in Myanmar), also supports its clients with company incorporation, accounting, taxation and audit services. 

“Inter Group is a one-stop management consulting firm providing customised solutions that help our clients achieve their full business potential,” said Nyi Nyi Htun, the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. According to him, joining OneSMP will enable the firm to expand its network of clients, build an “end-to-end capability” and exchange knowledge with likeminded peers.

The news comes two months after GRM International, an affiliated company of Inter Group, became a member of Integra International, a global association of independent accounting and advisory firms.
