Jean Angus and Anu Noto-Menon join Sandpiper in Singapore
Communications consultancy Sandpiper has added two professionals to its team in Singapore: Jean Angus and Anu-Noto-Menon.
Jean Angus has been appointed an Account Director within the firm’s Healthcare team, working closely with practice leads Saskia Kendall and Sarada Chellam. She brings over two decades of experience to the regional communications consultancy – Sandpiper has four Asia Pacific offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Sydney.
Prior to joining the firm, Angus was head of corporate communications at the National Dental Centre Singapore, where she oversaw media relations, issues and crisis management, patient education, social media engagement, and internal communications. Before that, she spent around five years at public relations firms Golin and the National University Health System, where she was a communications manager.
During her career, Angus has advised clients from the public health, pharmaceutical and bioscience sectors, delivering diverse projects including the Asia-Pacific launch of the world’s first dengue vaccine and the unveiling of Singapore’s Healthy Living Master Plan.
“I look forward to working closely with the team to help improve patient access and health outcomes through educating clinicians, engaging patients and influencing policymakers,” she said on her new challenge.
Meanwhile, Anu Noto-Menon has been appointed a Digital and Content Strategist. She focuses on developing online brand, performance marketing, and reputation strategies for regional clients – with a particular focus on the financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors.
Noto-Menon joins Sandpiper from Kerry Foods, where she was Regional Digital Marketing Manager for APMEA, leading integrated brand campaigns across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. Before that, she held B2B and B2C marketing roles for financial data and AI company, FinQuest; LinkedIn marketing company, Black Marketing; and digital media trading platform, Brandscreen; and content marketing company DMG Media.
“Working on the client side I have seen first-hand the opportunity and need for more specialist digital and content advisory and solutions tailored towards the unique needs of Asia Pacific. The region is culturally diverse and complex and digital marketing technologies and tools are constantly evolving, at a rapid rate. I look forward to my new role.”
Emma Smith, the Chief Executive Officer of Sandpiper, welcomed both women to the firm, stating “We are excited to welcome Jean and Anu to Sandpiper as we expand and diversify our team to meet the needs of our clients across Asia Pacific.”
