The local team led by Tscherter is now boosted with Wenger, who joined Finalix from Swiss regulatory technology solutions provider IMTF, where he was its Singapore-based APAC general manager since 2018. He led the firm’s offerings to banks, asset managers, and insurances, and solutions spanning client lifecycle management, onboarding, KYC and AML.

Previously, Wenger spent eight years at financial services consultancy Synpulse, including two years as an associate partner at its Singapore office. “He brings a deep understanding of the actual challenges faced by banks operating in this region,” said Tscherter. Earlier in this career, he served Zurich-based Swiss business consulting firm AWK.

Finalix works for universal banks, private banks, insurance companies, financial accountants, private equity firms and asset managers, focused on finance, regulatory, and digitisation projects. In Singapore, the firm works primarily for Swiss clients, but is seeking to expand its remit to also serve non-Swiss groups.
