MTI Consulting moves into new office in Colombo, Sri Lanka

International consultancy MTI Consulting has relocated its office in Sri Lanka, moving to a new hub in the centre of Colombo.

With six offices in the Middle East, Asia and Europe, and an extensive network of 40+ associates consultancies globally, MTI Consulting is one of Asia's larger consulting firms. The company, founded in 1997, supports clients with a range of management consultancy services, including strategic planning, process re-engineering, performance management, market entry, mergers & acquisitions, branding, digital transformation and human capital. 

In Sri Lanka, MTI Consulting has over the past decade built a track record with some of the top global companies and Sri Lankan corporates. Organisations that have called in MTI for expertise and/or support in the country include DuPont, banking groups Bank of Ceylon, HSBC, National Savings Bank, People’s Bank and Seylan Bank, Sri Lanka Telecom, United Motors and Sri Lankan Airlines. 

To accommodate for growth, MTI Consulting has moved into a new smart office in Colombo*, with around 640,000 citizens Sri Lanka’s commercial capital. Commenting on the decision to relocate, MTI’s Hilmy Cader CEO said “For a business that is knowledge and intelligence enabled, the physical and psychological work environment is a major determinant of employee engagement and therefore work quality. It also needs to cater to the new-generation work culture and the new mind-set of the team that MTI attracts and retains.”The team of MTI Consulting in Sri Lanka Cader, who prior to establishing MTI Consulting held senior international appointments with New Zealand Dairy Board (now Fonterra), Ralston Purina USA and Glaxo, added “The MTI ‘Way of living’, of which our smart office concept is a unique part of, is an integral part of our employee value proposition.” 

The Australia and Bahrain-based CEO further hinted on several exciting prospects for MTI in 2018. “It’s a little too premature to get into specifics now, but watch this space for some exciting news in 2018,” he said. Known however from previous releases and interviews is that the international consultancy is working on the launch of six new ventures in the coming twelve months, of which three are in the final stage of the launch process, with the other three still in the planning stage. 

Last year in Sri Lanka, MTI Consulting acquired a stake in The Carbon Consulting Company – on of Sri Lanka’s and South Asia’s leading providers of integrated sustainability solutions. “Sustainability is no longer a peripheral issue, it very much an integral part of  enterprise strategy, with the potential for deep-impact. Our stake and alliance with Carbon Consulting will help us offer strategic sustainability solutions to our growing client base here in Sri Lanka and internationally,” remarked Cader at the time.
