Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau partners with Aryans CGS
The Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, one of Sri Lanka’s largest engineering groups, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aryans CGS, a Singapore-based consultancy firm specialising in project delivery.
Founded in 1973 as a state enterprise by the Government of Sri Lanka, the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) is a provider of engineering, technical consultancy, and construction services. The company has a headcount of around 1,200 staff and works with both public and private sector organisations.
Aryans CGS meanwhile is a project management and project delivery consulting firm. The business, headquartered in Singapore and operating since 2017, supports the delivery of mega-scale projects in the water, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Under their strategic collaboration, the two companies will collaborate on projects in Sri Lanka and the wider Asia region, ensuring construction mandates from Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau are delivered to the highest standards of cost, quality, time, and risks – expertise brought in by Aryans CGS.
The two firms will also team up on business development opportunities, with the aim to grow their projects portfolio across Asia, as well as Africa and the Middle East. The latter market will be served through CECB’s recently established office in Dubai.
“This strategic partnership aims to accelerate the internationalisation of CECB’s services and explore new domains beyond its current portfolio, such as urban resettlement and carbon markets, by leveraging Aryans CGS’s extensive expertise in project delivery,” said Samitha Karunarathne, the CEO of Aryans CGS.
