TGP International expands into Asia with new Singapore office
TGP International, a hospitality and food & beverage consultancy, has expanded into Asia with the opening of a new office in Singapore. The move extends the company’s footprint to five offices across three continents.
Headquartered in the UK, TGP International works with hotel groups, property developers and destination owners on strategic and operational hospitality and food & beverage initiatives. The firm provides an end-to-end service, from strategy and masterplanning to concept development, brand positioning, marketing, guest engagement, operations, franchising and performance optimisation.
The launch of the new Singapore hub adds to its existing presence in London, Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo, providing a stepping stone for serving the burgeoning Asian hospitality scene.
“Our expansion into Singapore reflects both the pace of change across Asia and the growing demand for integrated hospitality thinking,” said Simon Wright, Founder and Chairman of TGP International.
“Across Asia, food & beverage has evolved into a key driver of placemaking, identity and value creation within mixed-use developments, hotels and destination-led projects. Food & beverage also continues to play a more central role in shaping cities, destinations and guest experiences, as hospitality environments move towards more holistic, lifestyle-led experiences that bring together dining, wellbeing and social connection,” he said.
Building on its expertise gained in Europe and the Middle East, TGP International will now cater to the growing demand for these developments across Asia.
The consulting firm will build on its established track record in Asia, which includes the delivery of the Saudi Arabian Pavilion’s food & beverage concept at Expo 2025 Osaka, alongside ongoing involvement in food hall developments and collaborations with leading Asian chefs and brands, including Janice Wong and Chef Rohit Ghai.
Asked why the firm selected Singapore as its regional base, Wright noted that the city-state has a mature food & beverage and hospitality market and provides easy access to key growth markets including Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
The Singapore office
The Singapore team will support international brands entering Asian markets, while also working in the other direction, supporting Asian brands expanding into Europe and the Middle East. The hub will additionally advise Asian developers and hotel groups on globally relevant food & beverage strategies for their (international) portfolios.
To lead its activities in Asia, TGP International has appointed Vikram Natarajan as Managing Partner for Asia, supported by Chan Kin Wai, Head of Business Development for Asia.
Commenting on the opportunities ahead, Natarajan said: “We’re seeing a significant shift in how hospitality brands are thinking about growth. Food & beverage is no longer just about standalone concepts, but about building ecosystems that integrate dining, wellness and lifestyle into a broader experience. At the same time, there is a clear increase in cross-border activity, with Asian brands looking outward and international operators seeking meaningful entry into this region.”
“The opportunity for us lies in translating strong concepts across markets in a way that respects local context while maintaining brand integrity. That is where a more integrated, globally informed approach becomes critical.”
