Arthur D. Little promotes Akinori Uno to partner in Tokyo office
Global management consulting firm Arthur D. Little has promoted seven new partners across its offices globally, including Akinori Uno in Japan.
Akinori Uno is a member of Energy, Utilities and Resources practice, based in Tokyo. His main fields of expertise are strategic planning, organization reform, mergers & acquisitions, and performance improvement.
In his client work, Uno focuses on energy sectors including electricity, gas and oil, alongside social infrastructure industries such as trading companies and construction. He provides his clients comprehensive support spanning corporate mid-term management plans, business portfolios, business strategy, M&A advisory, infrastructure project investment, and organisational plus operational transformation.
Uno joined Arthur D. Little in 2021 and has since then played a pivotal role in growing the firm’s Energy practice in Japan. “He has led high-value engagements across the sector, demonstrating repeatable delivery success and senior stakeholder trust, while building the team’s capabilities, knowledge-sharing and intellectual capital,” said Arthur D. Little in a statement.
Before Arthur D. Little, Uno worked at Japanese player JMA Consultants, and at global consultancies PwC and Accenture.
Arthur D. Little’s other promotions announced this month were in Europe (3x), the Middle East (3x) and the US (1x).
