Yan Zhou heads Turner & Townsend’s Energy & Infrastructure team in Greater China
Global professional services company Turner & Townsend has appointed Yan Zhou as Director of its Energy & Infrastructure practice in Greater China.
Based in Hong Kong, Yan Zhou brings more than 20 years of experience in delivering major energy and infrastructure programmes across the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
He joins Turner & Townsend from the Construction Industry Council (Hong Kong), where he was Assistant Director for Industry Development. Earlier, he held senior roles at engineering group Jacobs and KBR.
Throughout his career, Zhou has overseen the delivery of complex projects spanning oil & gas, renewable energy, nuclear, highways, railways, tunnelling, residential developments, and major institutional buildings. His experience covers every stage of the asset lifecycle, from strategic planning and governance through to commercial assurance and programme execution.
In his new role at Turner & Townsend, Zhou will lead Energy & Infrastructure business across China and Hong Kong, overseeing its strategic direction, client delivery and talent development.
Central to his mandate is strengthening the connection between infrastructure delivery and the region’s long term energy transition and decarbonisation goals. Zhou will also help establish a knowledge hub and project lab in Greater China, while will draw on Turner & Townsend’s global expertise to sett new standards in the region’s project management landscape.
