Sia appoints Michael Pang as Partner and Head of Cybersecurity for APAC

Global management consulting firm Sia has appointed Michael Pang as Partner and Head of Cybersecurity for its Asia-Pacific business.

Michael Pang brings over 25 years of experience in business and technology advisory, with deep expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology risk management.

He joins Sia from Protiviti, where he spent more than a decade, most recently serving as a Managing Director and APAC Leader of its Technology Consulting business. Before that, he spent nearly eight years at Boston Consulting Group and Kearney, where he worked on projects across China, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South East Asia.

Throughout his career, Pang has advised senior leaders on technology strategy, cybersecurity, IT transformation, operational improvement, and change management, among others.

In his new role, he leads the Cybersecurity team of Sia across its footprint in Asia-Pacific. “My primary responsibility is helping clients navigate complex digital threats by building resilient, tailored security environments that align with their business objectives. By prioritizing client success and team excellence, my ultimate focus is on driving the sustainable growth and impact of our cybersecurity practice across the Asia-Pacific region,” stated Pang on LinkedIn.
