L.E.K. Consulting welcomes consulting veteran Christian Boettcher to Tokyo office
Christian Boettcher, a seasoned management consulting veteran, has joined L.E.K. Consulting as a Partner in its Life Sciences practice.
Based in Tokyo, Christian Boettcher is a high-profile addition to the firm’s Life Sciences practice – he has more than 30 years of consulting experience gained at several (global) management consulting firms.
Most recently, Boettcher served as APAC Life Sciences and Healthcare leader at EY, and previously, he was a senior partner at Deloitte Consulting. Earlier in his career, he worked for two Japanese consultancies – JMAC and ABeam Consulting (as leader of the Strategy practice in the US) – and served Kearney and PwC.
Boettcher’s expertise spans many areas, with a particular focus on advising pharmaceutical firms, medical device firms, healthcare providers, payers and government entities on corporate strategy, large transformation, M&A and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, he has led many major multinational client engagements and built and scaled high-performing consulting teams across Asia-Pacific.
