Proxima appoints Nadia Chand as Marketing Director for Asia-Pacific region

Proxima, a global procurement and supply chain consultancy, has appointed Nadia Chand as its Marketing Director for the Asia-Pacific region.

Based out of Singapore, Nadia Chand will focus on three key areas: strengthening the firm’s brand visibility across the region, supporting commercial growth, and boosting employer branding to support the hiring of new talent.

Founded in 1994, Proxima is a subsidiary of strategy giant Bain & Company with offices in the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific – the latter which it gained through the 2022 acquisition of Australia-headquartered ArcBlue. In October last year, Proxima shifted its APAC operation under its global brand, and unveiled bold ambitions to expand its presence in the region.

It was this backdrop that attracted Chand to the firm: “What drew me to Proxima was the opportunity to help shape the brand during a period of meaningful regional expansion,” she said.

Chand has nearly eight years of B2B marketing experience, most recently as Marketing Director for APAC at Team Lewis. In the role, she spearheaded content marketing, lead generation, and go-to-market strategies for the global marketing agency throughout the region.

“The ambition to grow across APAC aligns closely with my experience leading marketing programmes that drive growth in complex, high-diversity markets. It’s a pivotal moment for the business, and I’m excited to help build a strong, consistent presence while ensuring our approach resonates locally across the region.”

“APAC is not a single market, it’s a collection of highly nuanced economies, cultures, and business environments," Chand continued. “I’ll be working closely with our regional and global teams to ensure our value proposition is consistently presented while adapting our strategy to reflect the priorities for each of our markets. It’s about clarity, consistency, and building meaningful local connections.”

Looking 12-18 months ahead, Chand envisions success as “a clear and recognisable market presence across key markets, supported by a consistent brand narrative and growing awareness among clients and talent.”

Jo Scott, Vice President for Global Marketing at Proxima, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Nadia to Proxima at such an exciting time for the business. Her deep understanding of APAC markets and proven track record in B2B marketing make her the ideal leader to drive our expansion.”
