Teneo boosts Forensic business with senior hire Richard Williams
Teneo has boosted its Financial Advisory business in Asia with Richard Williams, who has been appointed as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Richard Williams joins from Deloitte in the UK, where he has worked and lived for the past five years. Previously, Richard spent 13 years in Asia, where he founded the Analytics and Forensic Technology team at Deloitte in China and served as the Global Leader of Deloitte Discovery, sitting on the Global Executive Committee for Forensic Services.
With more than 35 years of experience in investigation, compliance, digital forensics and technology-led discovery, Williams has built and led teams across Australia, Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has served as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of Victoria (Australia), and has provided sworn affidavits on discovery and forensic technology matters across the US, China and Hong Kong.
“Richard’s arrival marks a major strategic step in expanding our forensic and investigations offering,” said Dan Butters, CEO of the Financial Advisory business at Teneo. “He has operated at the highest levels of global practice leadership and his ability to apply technology-driven solutions at scale will create immediate value for our clients.”
