Turner & Townsend welcomes senior leaders Jonathan Baker and Alex Katsanos
Global project delivery company Turner & Townsend has made two leadership appointments in Asia.
Joining from Mott Macdonald in the Middle East, Jonathan Baker has been appointed as Managing Director in the Energy and Infrastructure division. He is based out of Singapore.
Baker has over 30 years of experience in the engineering, consulting, construction, and energy sectors. He previously also worked for CH2M and Rolls-Royce. He has advised clients across multiple sectors including advanced manufacturing, defence, industrial, nuclear, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, ports, power, transportation and water.
At Turner & Townsend, Baker focuses on the delivery of major programmes in infrastructure, energy and natural resources delivery for public and private clients across Asia.
Alex Katsanos meanwhile has been named as Head of Advisory for Asia. Seated in Hong Kong, he has over 25 years of consulting experience advising both public and private sector companies across operations and infrastructure spanning East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. He brings experience in policy, transformation, operational improvement, capital planning, smart cities, digital strategy and procurement excellence.
Prior to joining Turner & Townsend, Katsanos worked for Aurecon, and earlier for Arcadis, Advisian (now Worley Consulting) and strategy giant McKinsey & Company.
He will focus on accelerating the growth of Turner & Townsend’s advisory business in Asia by strengthening its support to governments, investors and asset owners across the region.
