Korea Advanced Materials taps Consulus for international growth ambitions
Korea Advanced Materials, a developer of next-generation material technology, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Consulus.
The partnership focuses on joint initiatives to grow the market share of Korea Advanced Materials in international markets, with the ultimate goal of establishing a new global entity in Singapore and pursuing a future listing on a major international stock exchange.
Korea Advanced Materials specializes in the research, development, and production of next-generation materials for the industrial domain, used mainly for sustainable energy and smart manufacturing. These materials are more sustainable than traditional counterparts, while offering similar (or better) performance.
Under the terms of the strategic partnership, Consulus – a Singapore-based consulting firm – will serve as the exclusive international global office for the joint venture. Its role will encompass global business development, securing international contracts and partnerships, corporate structuring, capital raising, and managing the entire global branding effort.
Lee Sang Rak, Founder and Chairman of Korea Advanced Materials, shared his vision for the partnership: “For too long, our innovative materials have been a Korean secret. This partnership with Consulus is the crucial step in unlocking our global potential.”
“By leveraging their international network, branding expertise, and capital markets experience, we are not just exporting products; we are building a global technology enterprise ready for the rigors of a major international stock exchange. This is the moment when Korea Advanced Materials’ deep tech truly enters the world stage.”
“Korea Advanced Materials is an exemplar of deep, scalable innovation. Our partnership moves beyond simple internationalization; it is about building a globally respected ‘Impact Tech’ brand from the ground up. By taking their technology to the world and structuring it for a global listing, we are demonstrating how Korean industrial excellence can lead global impact and shape purposeful growth,” said Kim Tea Sung, Managing Director of Consulus in South Korea.
