Andersen Consulting accelerates Pakistan growth with trio of collaborations

Andersen Consulting has in the past months doubled down on its ambitions in Pakistan with the addition of three new collaborating firms.

Announced this week, Andersen Consulting has inked a collaboration agreement with Bridge Factor, a financial advisory firm specializing in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, restructuring, and valuation.

Operating for more than two decades, Bridge Factor’s expertise spans the energy, banking, infrastructure, telecom, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. Its clients include investors, multinationals, and government entities across Pakistan and the region.

“Our team has built a reputation for excellence by guiding clients through some of the most challenging and transformative financial transactions,” said Akbar Bilgrami, CEO of Bridge Factor. “Our collaboration with Andersen Consulting marks a significant milestone in our journey, expanding our reach and enhancing our ability to support clients navigating high-stakes.”

In July, Andersen Consulting struck a similar deal with Mercurial Minds, enhancing its technology delivery capabilities in Pakistan. Founded in 2013, Mercurial Minds provides a suite of IT consulting services, from defining data-driven roadmaps and building intelligent automation to delivering mobile and web experiences. The firm serves a diverse range of industries, with a focus on financial services, telecom and other data-intensive sectors.

“Our goal is to shape sentient systems that continually learn and adapt. Collaborating with Andersen Consulting accelerates that mission and empowers us to create enterprise value at unprecedented speed,” stated Nabeel Saiyer, CEO of Mercurial Minds.

Meanwhile, Andersen Consulting in May bolstered its local sustainability offering through an agreement with NEC Consultants, an environmental and infrastructure consulting firm.

Established in 2006, NEC Consultants provides environmental and engineering professional services. Their offerings include environmental assessments and audits, wastewater treatment plant design, energy audits, sustainability and circularity consulting, and training in environmental and energy efficiency.

Azher Uddin Khan, managing director of NEC Consulting, said: “This collaboration with Andersen Consulting marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide innovative and sustainable solutions. By combining our local expertise with the organization’s global reach, we are poised to address complex challenges and drive impactful change in Pakistan and beyond.”
