HLB strengthens Central Asia footprint with new member in Kyrgyzstan
Global accounting and advisory association HLB has strengthened its footprint in Central Asia with the addition of a new member firm in Kyrgyzstan.
The new member firm, which now goes to market as HLB Taxence, offers a full range of services in taxation, legal advisory, financial consulting, and accounting. The firm services both local and international businesses operating in Kyrgyzstan and the wider region.
Based in Bishkek, the consulting firm becomes the second member firm of HLB in Kyrgyzstan, alongside HLB Marka Audit, which specialises in audit and accounting services.
Commenting on the news, Coco Liu, HLB’s Chief Growth Officer, said that the addition of HLB Taxence aligns with the network’s strategic focus on growth in emerging markets.
“At HLB, we value entrepreneurial spirit, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of local markets. HLB Taxence exemplifies these qualities and brings a wealth of knowledge and regional insight to our network in Central Asia,” she said.
Globally, HLB has a presence in over 150 countries and a headcount of around 52,000 people.
Yulia Abdumanapova, Managing Partner at HLB Taxence, said: “We are confident that by joining HLB, our firm will play an integral part in expanding the network’s presence and activity in multiple Central Asian countries, while also allowing HLB Taxence to leverage the network’s global expertise. We look forward to broadening and enhancing the range and quality of services of this ambitious network.”
The new comes shortly after HLB boosted its presence in South Africa with the addition of HLB CBS Group, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Vereeniging, and Knysna.
