Accenture promotes Anoop Sagoo to Market Unit Lead for Southeast Asia
Global consulting and technology firm Accenture has appointed Anoop Sagoo as its Market Unit Lead for Southeast Asia.
Anoop Sagoo currently serves as Accenture’s Group Operating Officer for Growth Markets, overseeing promising markets in Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. In this role, he works closely with the leads across businesses, geographies and industries to execute the company’s ambitions.
Sagoo now steps up to Market Unit Lead for Southeast Asia, which will see him lead Accenture’s strategic direction and operations in around a dozen countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
“I’m passionate about delivering exceptional business value and making a positive impact in them regions where we operate, going beyond the services we provide. My focus is on close collaboration with senior business leaders, ensuring that partnerships are leveraged to maximize impact and drive transformative change,” stated Sagoo, who has been with Accenture his entire career.
“Sometimes difficult for me to believe, but it’s now been over three decades for me with our amazing business, including 13 years in Asia. Southeast Asia is a fascinating part of the world especially in the current macro environment we are operating in, and I am energised with the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Sagoo succeeds Ng Wee Wei, who will retire in January 2026 and then take on the role of Senior Advisor, supporting the Accenture team in the region with client work.
